  1. This article is so interesting and confirms what we have been learning about throughout the Education program here at Trinity. It reflects the notions of the growth mindset that I have realized is the key to learning in all aspects of life. The article emphasizes not the necessity of hiring and firing staff easily but instead of having teachers who are trained to adapt and to grow. It is important to have teachers who continue to learn and to help each other as they strive to contribute to every student's individual success story. The article explains how preparation and experience help teachers to step up to challenges they face in the classroom. Instead, of giving up or "dumbing-down" the curriculum, they are more confident in their abilities and continuously strive to reach their students. Teachers become less encouraged to teach through monotonous worksheets and become more intrigued to have relationships with their students where they can adapt to their educational needs. I feel so fortunate to have already had classroom experience, and I feel more prepared to overcome any challenges I will face. This article as well as the Education program here at Trinity has shown me how everything is a learning process and how there is always hope to grow as a teacher and as a student.

  2. What great phrasing: "...and become more intrigued to have relationships with their students where they can adapt to their educational needs."
